Seviyan kheer (Indian traditional dessert)


Seviyan (fine noodles)
Milk -1lit (full fat)

Milkmaid-1/2 tin
Sugar-6to 7 tbsp
Almonds, cashew and resins-around ½ cup
Saffron-few strings
Cardamom powder -1/2 tsp
Ghee-1/2 tbsp


Take a heavy bottom pan and heat with ½ tbsp of ghee.

Fry seviyan till light golden in color.

Now add boiled milk and milkmaid in it brings it to boil.

Add sugar and saffron (mix with little milk) in it.

Bring flame to medium   and cook kheer till it turn thick in consistency.

Now garnish with chopped nuts  and serve chilled.
