sorry friends its really long long break……i was very busy with shifting and with my daughters but now i am back again with full josh in India we all wait for these saven ka mahina “rainy season” because after this festive season  starts in full swing.. Rakhi , id, janmashthami,and then series of festivals and marriages ……and u know with lots of enthusiasm we celebrate all  these festivals ……fasting is also one of the important part of these celebrations so i thought i should start with this spacial recipe of  vrat ka khana / food for fasting  ….

These spacial dahi vadas /dumplings  are so delicious that no body can stop eating it believe me …

FOX NUT CHEESE DUMPLINGS IN YOGURT
paneer makhana ka dahi vada

for this you need ….
paneer’cottage cheese’ crumbled ‘preferably home made’- 1 cup
makhana  “fox nut”roasted ……………………1cup
green chilli…………….3 chopped
green coriander……..  1/4 cup
salt…………as per taste
black pepper……1/2 tsp
kuttu ka atta“buck wheat”…….1/2 cup
curd……………………1/2kg
 tamarind chutney  …………as required 
oil for frying 
get set go….
mix cottage cheese, crush roasted makhana or fox nut , chopped green chilli , chopped coriander and salt and pepper together. mash and make around 6-7 balls out of it keep aside.
in a bowl mix kuttu ka atta/buck wheat  with water to make a thin paste leave for 3 min..
heat oil in a pan .
take one ball at a time, cover it with paste and deepfry till light golden brown. keep aside 
whip curd in a bowl mix 1tbsp sugar in it 
now to arrange….. soak fried balls in curd  take out one by one and arrange in serving bowl top it with 5 to 6 tbsp of tamarind chutney and sprinkle salt and roasted cumin powder garnish with pomegranate and ginger Julianne …serve chilled
