- Raw Beetroot and Carrot Salad Recipe
1 Large/Medium Raw Beetroot (grated)
2 Medium Carrots (grated)
1 Medium onion ( sliced)
2 Tbsp (Handful) of Sultanas/raisins
1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 Tbsp Sunflower Seeds
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tsp Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 tsp Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
- Wash and peel beetroot and carrots.
- Grate them with a grater. slice an onion and keep aside.
- Whisk vinegar and olive oil together add salt and pepper, mix well to make a dressing.
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle with Sunflower Seeds to serve.
