Mushroom spinach curry || Mushroom & spinach stir fry
Mushroom and Spinach Malai Curry is a simple stir fry. However, you can also make this by adding a little tomato onion masala in it. After adding fresh cream and crushed paneer the flavour of the dish will enhance. You can serve it along with tandoori roti and herbed rice to make it a complete meal.
I have always been a huge fan of mushrooms. That’s why i tend to make lots of mushroom curries in my home my daughters also love mushrooms. A very tasty stir fry with goodness of mushroom and spinach.
1 cup sliced onions
1 cup sliced and blanched mushrooms (khumbh)
1 cup shredded spinach
1 cup crushed paneer
1 tomato chopped
1 tsp oil
2 tsp garlic & Ginger paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp termeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp fresh cream
- Heat the oil in a broad, non-stick pan, add the garlic paste, ginger paste and fry on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the sliced onion, shredded spinach, paneer and mushrooms, mix it gently and fry on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes mix gently, add the salt, chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder mix it well and fry on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Once done, switch off the flame and add fresh cream mix nicely, garnish with coriander greens and serve it with hot steamed rice or roti.
