Apple rabri with Shahi Tukri With step by step recipe. while there aren’t many steps in preparation of Apple rabri, but it can be time consuming and monotonous. in other words, the milk has to be boiled till it reduces to half and turns thick and creamy. it is also the main ingredient for several dessert recipes like malpua, rabri cake, jalebi rabri.

Rabri is usually prepared in a Kadai as the broad shape of the Kadai helps in the evaporation of the milk faster. You can also use a shallow broad pan instead. The pan or Kadai has to be thick-bottomed or else the milk gets scorched or burnt from the base.

Preparing Apple rabri is easy but you have to give it attention. There is no shortcut method to this traditional recipe. So I do suggest preparing this recipe when you are working in your kitchen and cooking something else too. But remember not to get absent-minded while making rabri.

How To Make Shahi Tukri

Shahi Tukda or Shahi Toast is a royal dessert. Made by deep frying the bread, soaking it in sugar syrup, and then drizzling it with thick luscious rabdi, this Hyderabadi delight is one of the best yet easy to make Indian desserts. Here’s how to make it at home.

Shahi means royal and tukda means piece. So this recipe literally translates to a royal piece of dessert which was perfect to serve the kings and queens. It is made by deep-frying the bread slices in ghee and then soaking them in flavoured sugar syrup. These pieces are then topped with a thick rabdi and slivered dry fruits.
