Mushroom spinach curry || Mushroom & spinach stir fry
Mushroom and Spinach Malai Curry is a simple stir fry. However, you can also make this by adding a little tomato-onion masala. After adding fresh cream and crushed paneer the flavour of the dish will enhance. You can serve it along with tandoori roti and herbed rice to make it a complete meal.
I have always been a huge fan of mushrooms. That’s why I tend to make lots of mushroom curries in my home my daughters also love mushrooms. Ingredients
Ingredients
1 cup sliced onions
1 cup sliced and blanched mushrooms (khumbh)
1 cup shredded spinach
1 cup crushed paneer
1 tomato chopped
1 tsp oil
2 tsp garlic & ginger paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp fresh cream
Directions
- Heat the oil in a broad, non-stick pan, add the garlic paste, ginger paste and fry on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the sliced onion, shredded spinach, paneer and mushrooms, mix it gently and fry on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes mix gently, add the salt, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder mix it well and fry on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Once done, switch off the flame and add fresh cream mix nicely, garnish with coriander greens and serve it with hot steamed rice or roti.
