Watermelon beetroot Fantasy- A very healthy yet tasty drink, Watermelon, beetroot, and pomegranate make this drink healthier. We have all seen our mothers and grandmothers talk about the all-important root – beetroot.
Beetroot has plenty of very well known health benefits. Beetroot is of exceptional nutritional value; especially the greens, which are rich in calcium, iron, and vitamins A and C.
These Roots are an excellent source of folic acid and a very good source of fibre, manganese, and potassium. It helps reduce blood pressure, Prevents plaque formation, and reduces ‘bad’ cholesterolBeats osteoporosis, Keeps diabetes under check, And many more …And the concoction of watermelon and pomegranate increases the health benefits.
I would like to suggest you a few more recipes from my blog-
4 cup fresh watermelon juice
1 cup beetroot juice
Juice of one pomegranate
1 tsp lemon juice
4-5 crushed mint leaves
Rock salt as per taste
Black pepper as per taste
5-6 crushed mint leaves
Crushed ice
Cut watermelon into small pieces. Remove seeds. Put the pieces in a blender and blend for a few seconds. Strain the juice.
Cut the beetroot into pieces and boils it in 1 cup of water for 4-5 min. Blend in a blender to make juice.
Take out the juice of one pomegranate in a juicer.
Blend all of them in a blender with crushed ice and mint leaves add salt and pepper as per taste and serve this health punch in a tall glass. Garnish with mint leaves and a lemon wedge.
