Sweet And Spicy Gooseberry fry -Today I want to share a very interesting recipe with you this is my special way to give my kids healthy food with lots of yummy feelings. This special recipe is sweet and spicy gooseberry fry. Gooseberries are all times favourite. In India, we eat gooseberries in so many different ways like candies, achar, curries, juice and jam.

gooseberry fry is a spicy tangy and tasty vegetable full of nutrients and a very good source of vit c. enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • gooseberry …………….250 gm

  • green chilly …………….250 gm

  • panch pooran………….1tbsp

  • ginger garlic paste……..11/2 tsp

  • mustard oil ……………..2 to 3 tbsp

  • salt………..as per taste

  • red chilly powder……..1tsp

  • coriander powder……..1tsp

  • turmeric powder………..1/2 tsp

  • sugar or jaggery ………..1 tsp

Directions

  • for this you required hand-picked good quality gooseberries wash and boil gooseberries till tender or pressure cook for 3 to 4 min … cut green chillies
  • now heat oil in a pan and put panch pooran in it stir and add ginger garlic paste stir till light golden in colour add all dry masalas/powders and mix well. add gooseberry and chillies in it and mix well and cook till oil separate add sugar or jaggery in it and cook till sugar dissolves delicious gooseberry fry ready to serve.
  • serve gooseberry fry with special lachcha parantha. I am sure your kids will love this vegetable.
