Lebanese veg rolls- Lebanese roll

Unlike most of the recipes I have shared with you so far, this is not a dish that I technically grew up eating at home, but, rather one that I would always eat in restaurants.

A very interesting recipe my kids love these Lebanese rolls with lots of cheese… you also try some variations and let me know how your kids like that this way we all will be benefited…

Ingredients:

Basic pizza dough ………for six

For veg roll…
Potatoes …..3 boiled
Green chillies …2 chopped
Fresh coriander ….4tbsp chopped
Boiled mix veg of your choice …..1 cup
Bread crumbs ……… 1/2 cup + for rolling
Salt …as per taste

Red chilli powder …..as required
Chat masala …..1 tsp ( optional )
Mango powder…. 1 tsp
Oil for frying
Cheese grated ( mixture of cheddar and mozzarella )

Method ..

Mix all the ingredients of the veg roll in a bowl and make cylindrical rolls out of it ..
And roll all of them in remaining bread crumbs. Heat oil in a skillet and fry rolls till light golden in color.
Make medium size balls out of pizza dough and roll each of them into small squares ( around 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch)
Spread cheese on the square and place each roll in the middle of the square and cover roll with one corner of the square.
Place each of them in a baking tray and bake at moderate temperature till turn light brown .
Enjoy with salsa sauce …
